Q.1
Which of the following best represents your opinion on the communication you want to receive as a member of the Project 17 executive committee?
I want very little information from Project 17, and I want it to be limited to high-level, governance-oriented information.
I am mainly interested in governance-oriented information, but I don’t mind reading through a few extra pages to get it.
I want to know all the governance-oriented information and enough information about the committee work to feel well-informed.
I want to know it all. I want to know everything that is going on in the committees as well as the governance information. Nothing is too inconsequential.
Q.2
Please check all the types of information that you would like to receive.
Meeting minutes: Executive committee
Meeting minutes: All 4 committees
Monthly committee reports
Monthly reports from the director, when hired
Copies of funding agency progress reports (activities and financial summary) as
scheduled by funding agencies
Articles and website links and other information that seems pertinent
Press releases/articles relating to Project 17 (issued by P17 and news outlets)
Project 17 presentations being made throughout the region
Notification of updates to Project 17 website – new and updated items
Prospective grant or funding opportunities being considered
Q.3
Please select the one answer below that best reflects your opinion about the need for sharing information among committees. (Check one.)
The important thing is that the executive committee knows what each committee is doing. The members of the four committees don’t need to share information.
Members of each committee should know a little about what’s going on in the other committees, just enough to give a sense of the big picture.
We should encourage communication among members of the four committees. Doing so will make it easier for them to build on one another’s work.
We should do more than encourage shared information. We should convene the committees periodically to share ideas and build relationships.
Q.4
In what format would you like to receive most information? (Check one.)
Email and files attached to email. If you send it on paper, I’m not going to read it.
Put it in the mail, please. I rarely use email.
I prefer social media, such as a Facebook group.
Let’s use a Dropbox or Google+ option, where all the Project 17 files are posted and we don’t need to each keep separate files on our computers.
It doesn’t matter to me. Whatever’s easy and quick.
